Super Bomb
You're a bomb with a short fuse. Blast your way through cities and caverns before you blow up for good.
Super Bomb is a game for the Pirate Software Game Jam #16. Made in January 2025 by metalgemmys, the theme is "You are the Weapon".
Here is the Game Design Document, following the Jam rules.

Level 1-3 it's impossible, there are an excessive amount of spikes and wall jumps, and even if you manage to overcome the entire section, the time left to reach the finish is too short. Apart the physics doesn't help much.
And also, sometimes when you run out of time, the game closes abruptly.
Although to be honest, I found the game as a concept very interesting, but the design and gameplay issues that left the third level have left me far behind.
I think the bigger issue is the lack of friction means that you often slide into spikes without touching any controls.
Yeah, Level 1-3 has gotten notes from other people too - bad level design on my part. I balanced the times based on what I could achieve, which is unfortunately biased because of my slower computer. Sorry about that.
Are the moving platforms spinning uncontrollably fast? That may be a framerate dependency issue, which happens by mistake from time to time. If your computer is operating at a really high FPS, that problem will be magnified.
Perhaps extra fuse time boosts could be seeded in the levels to make it easier to finish. Maybe an alternate mode where you really HAVE to do it without extra time, and boosts are added by default. Could be interesting.
